Hi There!

This is my space to heal out loud, and encourage others to do the same.

I’ve navigated my fair share of circumstances through the years, and I’ve taken each phase as an opportunity to build my toolbelt for the ability to transition through life with peace and confidence. Though I fully believe in being a life-long learner, and that we never fully “arrive” anywhere final, I have found myself in a season of life where I am often asked for wisdom or advice from those navigating something new or looking to transition in life in some way. I decided to create a way to “formalize” it, somewhat for my own sanity, and partly because I love using my time in this way, and don’t take it lightly when I’m trusted to, so I want to do it well.

I’ve created this space to 1. Share my own insights, growth, and efforts to navigate my own life well in the blog section, and 2. Give people who are interested in life coaching a more organized way to connect with me, so we can keep this important work sacred vs it getting lost in instagram DM’s or the like.

Some important context about me, the topics closest to my heart, and why they are important to me:

  1. I spent the majority of my life chronically ill, though finally at age 25 was able to heal from Chronic Lyme Disease. I have been in remission ever since, living a quality of life I never dreamed possible for me. I am passionate about helping people advocate for their own health and find the answers they need to heal. I am grateful every day I didn’t settle for the answers that were given to me. Your quality of life matters.

  2. I spent a decade in different types of therapy and have been intentional to develop myself into the healthiest version of me. I am so passionate about having a healthy nervous system and how that impacts so much of our lives. I’ve explored all kinds of different therapies and love them all, but am especially passionate about sharing my experience with EMDR. I am not a medical professional so I will never provide official medical advice for your physical or mental health, but I can share my experiences, answer questions, and offer advice. I hope to offer a non-judgemental space to disarm fears and offer practical next steps on your health journey.

  3. My dad had a massive stroke with I was 18 years old. I was a senior in highschool, 2 months shy of graduation, and became what felt like an orphan overnight. Navigating my entire adult life without parents who were able to be present, left me figuring out a lot of life out on my own. Through a lot of trial and error, this has given me an unique perspective on life that there is quite literally nothing I cannot do, figure out, or accomplish. I also know what it feels like to navigate heavy family situations.

  4. I grew up in a highly religious environment, some even refer to now as a cult. Since leaving at 18 years old, I have been on a journey of deconstructing spirituality. My spirituality is very important to me, but I have done extensive work to be in a healthy place. I have been on vastly different places on the spectrums over the years, so I provide a safe, non-judgemental space to explore questions of faith and spirituality.

  5. I am an infamous career switcher. I started my adult life as a dance teacher, dropped out of college, worked as a Paralegal Assistant at a law firm, became the Director of Operations at a non-profit, started my own events business, was a Marketing Manager at an agency, and helped a woman grow a business from the ground up. I’ve hit every glass ceiling, advocated for equality in unsafe spaces, negotiated pay raises, and even quit more than one job without something else lined up. I’ve spent a lot of time giving resume feedback, providing interview prep, coaching individuals how to have needed workplace conversations, and helped support people looking to make career transitions. I believe we spend too much of our lives at work to be miserable and mistreated, I believe you deserve to be compensated fairly, in a safe environment.

This is a little bit about me, these things don’t “qualify” me for anything, but simply helped shaped me into the human I am. I’m proud of the life I’ve build and grateful that people trust me to listen and guide.

My whole life, I hope to provide safe places for people, in many different ways. This is one avenue in which I am exercising that. Thanks for being here.
